回台灣的前夕我在澳洲做了一個夢。
夢裡我繞著台灣島游泳，像一隻鯊魚游過了東南邊的海岸線和墾丁；為了避免停下來抬頭換氣，我強迫自己待在水面之下游過整個西部沿海；抵達東北角的時候，我感到很寂寞，因為水變得很冷，而且夜晚很黑。最後我在東海岸中間的某個地方上岸，距離日出或許還有一小時，那裡有一群跟我一樣的泳客，有人走過來遞了一條大毛巾給我。
我感到非常滿足，因為夢裡的台灣就跟豪華郵輪一樣大。
LATE NIGHT SWIM

I was dreaming one night in Australia about swimming around Taiwan.
I was swimming like a shark. I passed by the east and the southest coast. I insisted on not stopping or even taking a breath along the west coast and i felt lonely along the north coast because the water was cold and night dark. Finally after coming back around I went ashore at the middle of the east coast. There was a group of beach goers there where someone gave me a towel.
I remember being very satisfied as Taiwan was only as big as a luxury cruise ship.
